Ethrag Emergency and Temporary Housing Residents Action Group ETHRAG - Emergency and Temporary Housing Residents Action Group is a residents association for those living in Brighton and Hove or placed by BHCC.

To Join ETHRAG you need to Live in Emergency or Temporary Accommodation or have previous lived experience living in emergency and temporary accommodation. Simply email Daniel at [email protected] If you want to support the group you can still join as a non voting associate member. ETHRAG as a recognised Residents Association, in fact we are the 1st residents association in the UK, exclusively for people who live in emergency and temporary accommodation.

Homelessness hits us all, Bad landlords are making more than enough money to provide those who live in temporary or emergency accommodation, with a good standard of accommodation and the appropriate support.

Its unacceptable that in 2018 people are suffering in isolation and poverty in emergency and temporary accommodation. Some for as long as 5 years in emergency and 10 years in temporary accommodation, It doesn't have to be this way. Get involved, meet new people or just keep us informed.

We understand nowadays its hit and miss whether you will get a caring housing officer or not, but if you feel the council or landlords aren't listening to your needs, then let us know and we will try and point you in the right direction.
