Today, out of respect for the tragic events on Brighton seafront, we have made the difficult decision to cancel Brighton’s Paddle-Out Protest planned for 16 May.

Our thoughts are with the families, friends, emergency services, and everyone affected by today’s heartbreaking events.

Thank you to everyone who had planned to stand with us, volunteer, paddle, dip, or support in any way.

Please help us share this update so nobody makes unnecessary travel arrangements.

We appreciate your understanding.

FBU general secretary Steve Wright said, "The FBU is determined to use this affiliation to do all we can to decisively change the policies and direction of the Labour Party. As a Labour-affiliated union, the FBU will fight for a government that truly represents the working class."

Utterly shocking πŸ‘‡ and another reason why Starmer must go but his Cabinet must also go with him.
Tell your MP to stop the curtailment of our rights to protest, free speech and peaceful assembly, and lift the threats to all democratic rights in the UK. Ask your MP to begin this by demanding the immediate repeal of the Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Act 2022 and the Public Order Act 2023 βœŠβš–οΈπŸ—£οΈπŸͺ§
