The Brighton Legal Walk is happening this Wednesday 9 Sept!

This annual sponsored walk raises money and awareness for local free legal advice services, including BHT Sussex.

Demand for our services has continued to rise over the last year and we need support so we can continue to offer free legal advice and fair access to justice for Brighton residents.

Today is which promotes a greater social awareness on sexual health.

At our day centre for people sleeping rough, we provide STI testing kits, contraception, pregnancy tests and refer our clients to sexual health and contraceptive services.

🤝 Homelessness is complex, which is why partnership working is so important.
First Base acts as a hub where housing, health, social care and community organisations can meet and support people together.
In the last year, 17 different agencies used First Base as a venue to support their clients and deliver joined-up services.
Together we can achieve more.

Despite the extreme temperatures and very dry growing conditions this year, the gardening group were able to harvest some massive carrots at Shore House last week. Clients were delighted with the haul, especially the unusual shapes! These carrots were taken straight into the kitchen, and a client made them into a stir fry to share with everyone. Delicious!
