Morning all
Last night, David, Martin and Simon (trustees) attended the Calderdale 'Community Spirit Awards' event, an annual celebration of the volunteering sector in Calderdale

Thanks to Gillian Wrigley of Calderdale Countryside and Woodlands Team who nominated us, we were one of the finalists in the 'Sustainability' category
CBWG was chosen as the winner in this section!!

We were absolutely thrilled to receive the award, but more importantly, it's all about EVERYONE who volunteers for CBWG in whatever way . I'm sure you share my enormous sense of pride in receiving this award, which you so fully deserve, as you are so much a part of it.

It was an enormous privilege to stand on the stage and receive the award on behalf of you ALL

Thank you ,Thank you for everything you do, your relentless work and efforts for wildlife and the community have been very publicly recognised and celebrated
I will bring down our trophy and certificate on Tuesday morning to take pride of place in our Visitor Centre
Well Done!
