Introducing everyone’s favourite… Big Swim 2026! 🏊‍♂️💙

We’re calling all swimmers — from total beginners to seasoned pros — to take the plunge for a brilliant cause: better mental health for everyone in Calderdale.

What is the Big Swim?
A sponsored swim with purpose. Set your distance, gather support from friends and family, and get ready to make a splash.

📅 When: Sunday 4th October
📍 Where: Brighouse, Todmorden or Sowerby Bridge pool — you choose!

Choose your challenge:
• Individuals (16+): 100m, 400m, 800m, 1 mile — or set your own target for an extra challenge
• Juniors (15 and under): choose your own distance
• Relay teams: 2–6 people, mixed ages and abilities welcome. Set a team target and share the lengths!

The World Cup is here! 🎉⚽

From now until the end of the tournament, any children coming to site wearing football paraphernalia (shirts, scarves, shin-pads, anything!) will get a free inflatable fun swim.

Our inflatable fun swims are on Sundays at 1:15pm. So come along in kit and grab your place!

From life-like lions to pop art... anything! 🦁 The choice is in your hands. Just make sure to hand back in your design to reception with a name and number.

Sessions running in the teaching pool 07:00-08:00 on Mondays and Wednesdays.
Sessions bookable 8 days in advance via the app, website or phone!
