So as we know the costs have gone up dramatically for everything!

Cake making is becomming so expensive.
To make buttercream for a 6" cake its Β£5 just for the buttercream.
Then theres oven/electric time and the other ingredients.
The most important ingredient there is....my time.
My time is taken away from my family and my household time of things, so to fit it all in and with working long hours too i sacrifice myself.
Im not getting any younger and my family are the most important and its time i cant get back.

As you know ive not had the best of health either so sacrificing myself comes at a bigger cost too but thats the part noone sees except my family.

I have few cakes booked in and they are not affected but i am taking a step back from cakes for the foreseeable and am no longer taking on new orders!

This hasnt been an easy choice to make because ive worked hard to prove myself for myself over a lot of years and attaching my name to what ive made.

Ive met some of the most lovely people you could ever wish to work with for special occasions and such and i thank you all greatly for the opportunity ive had while doing cakes.

So as they say all good things come to an end and today is me holding my hands up and putting myself first...

Sorry for rambling on and on but i like to kinda give a well rounded account so people can see the genuine side of it all.

Theres some amazing new talent around and ive been recommending them already which im sure they know who they are already ❀

Thank you for me living my best life and creating so many cakes and bakes for so many of you. Got some beautiful friends from over the years too.

2nd from bottom- vanilla with seedless jam and buttercream
Bottom tier- chocolate with choc fudge filling.

Glitter square tier and pearlised pink shimmer tier.
