Today across Bridgend, we commemorate 82 years since the Normandy landings, beginning the liberation of Western Europe.

We honour the bravery and sacrifice of all those who fought and defeated fascism.

We will remember them.

๐Ÿšง More investment in our roads.

Cllr.John Spanswick is in Brackla West Central, where resurfacing work has recently been completed near the Triangle Roundabout as part of more than ยฃ250,000 of road improvements in the local area.

We know well-maintained roads matter to residents, which is why Labour is continuing to invest in repairs and resurfacing across Bridgend County Borough - with more improvements still to come.

Tomorrow, the health board meets to discuss the future of community beds and local facilities. Bridgend County currently has no community beds at all - and local people deserve better.

Deputy Leader Jane Gebbie has been standing up for Bridgend communities and calling for fair, accessible care closer to home.

Today is polling day - and time is running out.

Welsh Labour is investing in Bridgendโ€™s future - backing schools, young people, and delivering a new town centre college.

Reform offers division and failed Tory politics under a different badge.
