We would like to take this opportunity to welcome Sarah Cooper-Lesadd MS to the Plaid Cymru Pen y Bont Bro Morgannwg team.

Political journeys can change, and people can reassess their priorities, beliefs and the political home they feel best represents them. Our party is one that believes in giving people the opportunity to contribute, to listen, to learn and to work together for the communities we represent.

At the same time, we recognise that some constituents will have questions and concerns about this decision, particularly those who may have previously felt strongly about the political positions or conduct associated with Reform.
Those concerns are legitimate, and they deserve to be heard, and we welcome the conversations that will inevitably follow Sarah's decision.

As emergency services continue to respond to wildfires across South Wales, we are urging everyone to please follow advice issued by South Wales Fire & Rescue Service:
👮🏼‍♀️Report any suspicious behaviour or deliberate fire starting to 101 or in an emergency 999.
🚫Please refrain from using BBQs, fire pits or having bonfires.
❌Stay away from affected areas.
🪟In areas affected by smoke, please keep windows and doors shut.
