A fantastic opportunity to learn more about British Army Music. If you are involved with a youth music organisation and would like to get involved please get in touch 😃

British Army Music is delighted to offer young musicians the opportunity to experience Operation CYBERBEAT. The event is designed to educate, inspire and engage young musicians, offering them a chance to experience music in new and innovative ways. There will be performances, interactive displays and behind the scenes opportunities to engage with musicians from the Royal Corps of Army Music. This event will deepen students’ understanding of melody, harmony, pitch and rhythm, while encouraging creativity, teamwork and a fresh appreciation of music’s role in society.

Our next two events are: 01 May at Hoddinott Hall in Cardiff and 02 May at Elgar Hall in Birmingham. Click on the QR code for more information.

Last night we were honoured to attend a truly special evening at St Davids Cathedral as part of the St David’s Day celebration weekend.

We were treated to wonderful music by the The Band of the Prince of Wales and British Army Band Tidworth, whose performance filled the cathedral that bears our patron saint’s name with pride, tradition and incredible talent. The setting was breathtaking, and the atmosphere was one of unity, reflection and celebration.

As part of their visit, the bands had also been out in the local community conducting musical workshops with talented young musicians in the area — inspiring the next generation and sharing their passion, skill and experience.

We are incredibly grateful that the evening raised thousands of pounds for both the Army Benevolent Fund and the Cathedral, helping us continue our vital work supporting soldiers, veterans and their families — and preserving this beautiful place of worship at the heart of the community.

It was a proud moment to share our message of being “For Soldiers. For Life.”

A heartfelt thank you to the dedicated staff and volunteers who made the evening possible, and to everyone who supported through their generosity and donations. Your kindness ensures we can continue standing alongside the whole Army family when they need us most.
