Invercauld Estate

Invercauld Estate Invercauld Estate is located in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park, much of it is in what is often known as Royal Deeside.

The Estate Office is located near to the village of Braemar. The land has been in the stewardship of the Farquharson family for many centuries and extends to approximately 150 square miles of spectacular scenery. The Estate is managed to enable sustainability of three key elements - the environment, the economy and the local community. We have a number of houses in the area, many of them occupied

by people working locally including our own staff, and a number of let commercial properties including shops, telecom mast sites and Farquharson's Bar and Kitchen in Braemar. The Estate also runs Braemar Caravan Park with its bespoke 'Fog Pods'. Farming and forestry are important activities on the land and we are world renowned for grouse shooting, deer stalking and salmon fishing. These activities also support conservation of the environment and we are proud to help look after many rare and endangered species. The native Caledonian Scots Pine provides the backdrop for rolling heather covered mountains leading up to a number of Munros.
