Heartbroken to say goodbye to a fantastic boss, colleague, and friend today. I have worked for and alongside Jeanette for 16 years, and it's always been an absolute pleasure.

Jeanette challenged me to improve everyday "You cannot 90% land a plane", Jeanette would say when she knew I could do better, and I would not be where I am today without this absolute legend in my corner.

You were amazing, Jeanette and I will miss you and your advice more than you will ever know. Cllr Brendan Stubbs

The Lib Dem family and I in Bradford are shocked and saddened to learn Jeanette Sunderland has passed away. Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with her husband Andrew, her daughter Rachel, and all her wider family and friends.

Struggling to cross the road or pull out safely in your car at Five Lane Ends Roundabout.
Sign the petition below to help us fight for change.

Five Lane Ends is too dangerous. We need safer crossings, better traffic management and urgent action from Bradford Council to protect children, pedestrians and drivers.

Wishing you and your loved ones a peaceful and joyous Eid al-Fitr!
As the month of Ramadan comes to a close, it’s a wonderful time to reflect on the values that bring us all together: gratitude, compassion, and the importance of community. Whether you are celebrating the religious significance of the day or simply enjoying the spirit of togetherness, may this time be filled with warmth and reflection.
In a world that can often feel fast-paced, today is a beautiful reminder to slow down, reach out to neighbors, and appreciate the diverse tapestry of friends and family that enrich our lives.
Eid Mubarak to everyone celebrating! May the year ahead bring you health, happiness, and plenty of reasons to smile. ✨🌙

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual to give around 5-8 hours of their time each month to support the running of FoBB. The role will involve:
• chairing quarterly meetings with the fantastic FoBB volunteer group
• inspiring FoBB's network to shape a vision for clean, living and loved becks across Bradford
You’ll be supported by a passionate, friendly and skilled volunteer group. Training and support will be available.

We would love to hear from you!

Challenging the council on fly tipping and street cleansing.

Cllr. Stubbs was up again next speaking on a motion about failures to deliver crucial local services. Residents have told him that they are fed up with fly tipping that sits too long, litter that builds up, bin collections that are missed and a reporting system that seems to lead nowhere.
He said that we need to get the basics right, publish performance openly, target hotspots properly and make sure there are real consequences for repeat offenders.
We think residents deserve to feel good about where they live and deserve a council that is visible, responsive and in control.
