Clayton library is open between 9.30am and 12.30pm today and tomorrow due to operational requirements.

The bookmark crafting event will take place at 10.30am today. Tomorrow we are running the 'Dance workshop' from 10.30am. Call 01274 437643 for more details.

Clayton library is welcoming John Kirk tomorrow for a storytelling session at 12.30pm. Children attending will have the opportunity to join in the story. The event is suitable for children aged 3+ and spaces are still available.
The library will be open on Thursday from 11.30am, due to operational requirements.

Due to unforeseen circumstances Clayton library will be closed between 1.30pm and 5.00 pm today and
all day tomorrow.

As part of our weekly maintenance of the roundabout we have taken down a large banner with the name Asha on it. We hope you had a happy birthday 🎉.

We appreciate people have used the roundabout in the past for displaying banners, however this is classed as fly posting and can be a distraction to road users at an already busy junction.

Please do not install posters or banners on the roundabout as these will be removed when it is safe for us to do so.

Please message us here if you wish to arrange collection of the banner, otherwise we will responsibly dispose of it after four weeks. Thank you.

Notice of a temporary change to opening times for library customers. Due to service requirements, Clayton library will be closed at the following times on Thursday 13th August:

9.30 to 1.00pm and 4.00pm to 7.00pm

The reading challenge 'making musical instruments' event will still go ahead from 2.00pm. The activities are suitable for children of all ages. We apologise to all library customers for any inconvenience caused.
