🏅 Mini Olympics Success! 🏅

Well done to our fantastic Year 4 children who took part in the Mini Olympics at Benton Park this afternoon. Three children won their individual events and we finished in an amazing 2nd place overall as a team!

We are so proud of how brilliantly all of the children represented our school through their teamwork, determination and sportsmanship. 🌟👏

It also reinforces the vital messages within our Cavendish Curriculum, particularly around water safety, helping children to learn through meaningful, real-life experiences!

🌟 Health and Well-being Week & Sports Days 🌟

To celebrate Health and Well-being Week next week, children are invited to attend school in their sports clothing every day 🏃‍♂️⚽

We’re delighted to be hosting our Sports Days, all starting at 9:00am, on the following dates:

📅 Monday 15th June – Years 1 & 2
📅 Tuesday 16th June – Years 3 & 4
📅 Wednesday 17th June – Years 5 & 6
📅 Thursday 18th June – Reception

Nursery Sports Day will take place on Wednesday 17th June at 10:30am and 2:30pm.

Today, our Eco Warriors took part in a litter-picking activity around the school grounds and nearby local streets. Working together, they collected rubbish that had been discarded in public areas, helping to create a cleaner and safer environment for everyone in our community.

We are excited to invite our families to our OPAL Summer Play Day on Thursday 11th June at 1:30pm

This special event is open to children in Reception to Year 6, and all family members are very welcome to join us. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

Come along for a lovely afternoon where you can:
✨ Play alongside your child
✨ Explore our fantastic outdoor learning and play areas
✨ See first-hand how fun and engaging our OPAL playtimes are

It’s a wonderful opportunity to spend quality time together and experience the joy of outdoor play at Cavendish Primary School.

Refreshments will be available to purchase, all funds raised will go towards continuing to develop our wonderful grounds.

🎒✨ Welcome Back! ✨🎒

We hope you enjoyed a relaxing and enjoyable half term break. We are looking forward to welcoming all of our pupils back to school tomorrow as we begin the final half term of the academic year.

A friendly reminder that classroom doors open at 8:30am each morning. Arriving on time helps children settle quickly, start their day positively and make the most of every learning opportunity.

Let’s work together to make this final half term a successful and memorable one. Every day counts! 💪
