🔥 Heatwave Warning – Help Protect Our Parks & Green Spaces 🌿

With temperatures rising this week and a heatwave upon us, our parks, woodlands and moorland areas are at serious risk of fire.

We kindly ask all visitors to help keep these spaces safe:

🚫 No BBQs or open fires
🚬 Please dispose of ci******es safely – never drop them on the ground
🔥 Take all litter home, especially anything that could spark a fire

Even a small spark can quickly turn into a devastating wildfire, putting wildlife, habitats and people at risk.

🙏 Please act responsibly and help protect the places we all love.

Let’s work together to keep Bradford’s green spaces safe for everyone 💚

Forest Bathing Session - 27th Jun, 10am
Slow down, switch off and reconnect with nature at our Forest Bathing Session in Park Wood, facilitated by Annie Berrington from Get Out More CIC. Enjoy a gentle guided experience designed to help you relax, unwind and notice the sights, sounds and atmosphere of the woodland around you. No swimming costume required!
All welcome. Meet at the bottom entrance to Park Wood on Kendal Street.

This year we’re celebrating the 24th Saltaire Festival and 25 years of Saltaire’s UNESCO World Heritage status and we’d love you to be part of it.

FAMILY WEEKEND | 🗓️12-13 Sept
Roberts Park will be buzzing with food, crafts, music, family fun and plenty of opportunities to treat yourself.

and all sorts of wonderful independent events along the way.

MID-WEEK | 🗓️14-18 Sept
Poetry, comedy, dance and something different every night.

FINALE WEEKEND | 🗓️19-20 Sept
The Continental Market returns, the Golden Stage takes over the village; Roberts Park fills with street food, live performances, stalls and festival atmosphere.
