Tonight the cadets all took part in many challenging activities.

They hosted a game of 'The Air Cadet Apprentice' and battled to create the more useful product. They then had to present their product, and any facts and statistics they could to the judge.

The recruits took part in a leadership lesson for the first half of the night, and then sat down and learned all about the history of the Air Training Corps.

Some of our other cadets spent the night improving their drill and discipline.

Tonight we welcomed our new recruits into our squadron. They were shown around the building and given many practical activities to help break the ice and build friendships within the group, and with the rest of the cadets.

There was also a lot of Wing Training Day preparation tonight, with our Drill Team practicing the sequence, and our Band team improving their playing. 🎼

Tonight also saw 2 promotions! We had one Corporal to Sergeant, and one Sergeant to Flight Sergeant promotion. Congratulations to Sgt Roberts and FS Patel! 🥳

Tonight we welcomed our next batch of potential recruits into the Squadron, and showed them what the RAFAC is all about....

Tonight we welcomed our next batch of potential recruits into the Squadron, and showed them what the RAFAC is all about.

We had many stations set up, including Uniform, Band, First Aid, Shooting, Expedition Training, and more! There was also a big presentation at the end that was delivered by our amazing Cadet Warrant Officers.

The rest of the Squadron took part in padre's hour. They completed a series of acting games, discussed religious views and real world scenarios, and completed a challenge called 'AI or Real.'

Thank you to our NCOs for helping with the Recruitment Evening, and well done to everyone else who came down and took part in the night's activities!
