The second BOA Join In! event was a great success, attracting more than 300 people keen to get involved in their local community.

The event gave residents the chance to discover new hobbies, meet local groups, explore volunteering opportunities and find out more about what’s happening in the town. Despite the rain, it was fantastic to see so many people come along and try something new.

A huge thank you to all the groups that took part and help make Bradford on Avon such a wonderful place to live, volunteer and connect with others.

Update - Friday 5 June

Due to the poor weather forecasts we've decided to move all of the groups into St Margaret's Hall. Dolly the Pony might even make an appearance if the weather clears up.

The event is still running from 11am to 3pm. And we can't wait to see you there.

BOA Join In! isthis weekend, bringing together more than 30 community groups, charities, clubs and organisations from across the town.

The event is a great chance to discover new hobbies, meet local groups, explore volunteering opportunities and find out more about what’s happening in the town.

Throughout the day there will be plenty to enjoy, including live demonstrations, crafts, wellness activities, music, tea and cake with ponies, and lots of family-friendly fun.

You can also head over to the tennis courts at Culver Close for a drop in taster session with a member of the new coaching team.

Whether you’re looking to get involved, try something new or simply enjoy a lovely community atmosphere, there’s something for everyone at BOA Join In!

And that’s a wrap on another fantastic BOA Live Music Festival. A huge thank you to everyone who came along and helped create such a brilliant atmosphere across the weekend. As well as our event partners Wiltshire Music Centre and H2 Creative • Digital.

Our thanks also go to our sponsors, Steve Vick International, Kingstons Estate Agents Bradford on Avon and CPS whose support helps make the festival possible.

And to the dedicated volunteers who work so hard behind the scenes to organise the event and keep everything running smoothly.

While the memories are still fresh, we’d love to hear what you thought of this year’s festival.

We’ve put together a short survey, and your feedback will help us as we start to plan for next year.
