This Sunday afternoon sees the Club open for another historic meeting in a major sporting final for England's Lionesses....their 3rd in succession.... where they will be facing old enemies Spain.
Rest assured this will not be a repeat of the World Cup Final of 2023 when Spain emerged victorious... NO, today the Lionesses will be handing out a lesson to their Iberian foes... in the manner of the Armada off Plymouth Hoe in July 1588. Get in. 1 free pint (or fruit based drink for the ladies ©the pub landlord) for anyone in an England or Spain football shirt.
Doors open at 4.

Tonight! 🤩

We are pleased and excited to announce the return of Guthrie Kennard and his band back to South Wraxall Club on Saturday 8th February. Guthrie is a country star in his own right, visiting the UK from his homeland of Fort Worth, Texas, and we are very lucky and flattered that he chooses the South Wraxall Club as one of his venues to perform when he is here on his brief visits.

Come and experience this authentic chunk of Country and Americana. Guthrie has a amazing repertoire and style that is a joy to experience in this intimate venue.

Guthrie is backed by his selection of musicians who in the past has included Kevin Brown, Beth Rowley, Jon Fenlon, Pete Lane and Zac Ware to name a few. We'll have to wait and see who he turns up with this time.

All money taken on ticket sales / donations will go to the artists. £5 for club members, £10 for non members / guests. Doors 7.30 Show starts 8.30.

Enquiries to [email protected]

"With a voice that recalls Bob Dylan and Keith Richards, Kennard spins tales of rural disaffection against a backdrop of rough-hewed melodies and backwoods percussion, classic Texas music, and a soundtrack to the Hill Country" - Darryl S Myers, Dallas Observer
