🌿 WE ARE HIRING – GROUNDS PERSON 🌿
Join our team and help keep Bracknell's parks, recreation areas and community spaces looking their best!
📍 Location: Bracknell Area
💰 Salary: £25,583 – £27,254 per annum (NJC Scale Points 5–9, dependent on qualifications and experience)
➕ Pension Scheme
⏰ 37 hours per week (with additional hours potentially available)
As a Grounds Person, you will:
✅ Help maintain recreation areas and play equipment
✅ Ensure Council facilities are attractive, welcoming and safe for visitors
✅ Work outdoors as part of a dedicated team serving the local community
We're looking for someone who:
✔ Has some knowledge and experience of grounds maintenance
✔ Has good customer service and communication skills
✔ Can undertake heavy manual work and enjoys working outdoors
✔ Works well as part of a team
✔ Holds a full, clean driving licence
Desirable qualifications include PA1/PA6 and LANTRA Base Machine Operations, although training will be provided for the right candidate.
