As your child gets older and starts having more independence, it can be great to watch them take responsibility for themselves and experience their first taste of freedom. But, it can also be a great source of worry.

🌟 Exciting news for our community! 🌟

We’re proud to unveil our very first Communication Board at Great Hollands Recreation Ground, officially opened by Mayor Cllr Kathleen Nugent on 3rd June.

The board helps children and families of all communication abilities connect, play, and interact together β€” making our park more inclusive and welcoming for everyone. πŸ’™

More communication boards will be installed across our parks shortly.

Thank you to all who attended to celebrate this important step towards accessible community spaces for all.

Thank you for supporting inclusive play and communication. We encourage families to explore the board together during your park visits.
