West Northamptonshire Unitary Council cabinet members met with Zia Yousef and Jaymey McIvor Friday afternoon. Zia now heads up the Reform UK DOGE team, and the team will start to build on the tremendous work that the WNC cabinet has already started!

Three weeks as a West Northamptonshire Unitary Councillor, less than a week as Portfolio Holder for HR and Corporate Services - I'm thankful for the ongoing training and support from both WNC and Reform UK to provide the best possible service to the people of Brackley and Northamptonshire. It is an honour and privilege to serve and represent Brackley residents on the West Northamptonshire Unitary Council.

A little more than a week in office, our new councillors are undergoing training, sorting out the logistics of local government/admin (email address allocation, etc), while formally electing both the cabinet and leaders for the various committees.

Please give us a little more time, but be assured, we are already hitting the ground running!
