Relax, pull up a chair on your own private balcony, overlooking the surf beach with uninterrupted views of the award winning Dorset coastline, stretching from the Isle of Wight to the Purbeck Hills. The Beach Pod is situated on the second floor of the Overstrand building, just 50m from Boscombe Pier and is available for use daily between the hours of 6am and midnight. There are toilets situated on the same floor. The Wayne Hemingway designed Pod includes mains electricity and hot and cold running water. The bespoke kitchenette is equipped with a kettle, microwave, sandwich toaster and all the kitchen essentials that you need to make your stay as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. There is also a unique seaside furniture set comprising of deck chairs, folding table, director chairs and wind break. Facilities within the area of the Overstrand include a restaurant, bistro, surf shop and surf school. The beach area adjacent to the Overstrand is manned by RNLI lifeguards throughout the summer months. The popular land train stops outside the building which makes it easy to get around the local area. There is also a beach office for local tourist information located within the Overstrand building. So, come and relax and soak up the surfing atmosphere in your own Pod of tranquility........
