Parent Carer Foundation has welcomes the Big Conversation on Care.
The article focuses on adult social care, but families caring for disabled children and young people live with the same pressures every day. Any future National Care Service must recognise children, young people with SEND, and the unpaid parent carers who hold their care together.

Baroness Casey of Blackstock has today (29 July) launched The Big Conversation on Care, the most ambitious public conversation in a generation, handing the public a direct role in shaping the future of adult social care in England.

Petition: Launch a public inquiry into the SEND system in England

We call on the Government to launch a statutory public inquiry, under the Inquiries Act 2005, into the provision of SEND services in England following whistleblower allegations, which have led to wider concerns from many about the existence of systemic failures within SEND services.

We call on the Government to launch a statutory public inquiry, under the Inquiries Act 2005, into the provision of SEND services in England following whistleblower allegations, which have led to wider concerns from many about the existence of systemic failures within SEND services.
