Distraction in the kitchen is one of the leading causes of fires and kids can reach pans faster than you think.

➡️ Turn pan handles inward
➡️ Keep children out of the kitchen when cooking
➡️ Never walk away from the hob
➡️ Remove pans from the heat if you need to leave the room

Stay alert, stay safe.

If a fire starts: Get out. Stay out. Call 999.

🔎Buying from online marketplaces can be a convenient way to find what you need. And with a few simple checks, it can be safer too:

• Check the seller – their name, location, and how long they’ve been selling
• Read reviews – look for detailed comments, not just star ratings
• Check product details – look for instructions, warnings, and what it’s made from
• Look for trusted safety marks – like UKCA or CE
• Check for recalls – search ‘product recalls’ on GOV.UK

You don’t need to be an expert to shop safely online.
You just need to know what to look for.

Please note that submission of an entry form, or previous attendance as an exhibitor at our show, does not guarantee acceptance. We aim to provide a varied and balanced selection of exhibits each year.

It is so rewarding to us as a Committee when we have returning hirers, this week the Hall was hired by someone who hirers us every year at this time of year, they walked in commented on the how much lighter the hall appears since we were decorated, the wifi and the new lightweight tables.
