We’ve been pleased to support the RSPB at Frampton Marsh with temporary pumping equipment to help manage water levels ahead of the spring breeding season. Working with partners, reservoir levels were raised from 105cm in mid-February to 140cm by early April—helping protect vital wetland habitats for birds including avocet, lapwing, redshank and little ringed plover.

The Fens 2100+ evidence reports have now been published and are available for everyone to explore on GOV.UK. These reports bring together years of collaborative work to help shape a climate‑resilient future for the Fens.

Summer cutting commenced yesterday, by Christmas 4 flails and 6 excavators should have flailed and cut 478 miles of Board maintained drains in our catchment. The plan (already amended to accommodate early harvesting) can be found on our website and weekly updates will also be posted.
