Education systems are under growing pressure from fiscal constraints, climate shocks, protracted crises and rapid technological change, including advances in artificial intelligence.

Convened by UN Deputy Secretary-General Amina J Mohammed and UNESCO Director-General Khaled El-Enany, the Transforming Education Summit + 4 (TES+4) will review progress made since the 2022 UN Transforming Education Summit.

On 10 July 2026 at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris, global leaders, ministers, economist Vera Songwe, artist Audrey Nuna, youth and many change-makers will come together to accelerate action towards achieving – focusing on resilience, teachers, digital transformation and financing of .

Sometimes the bravest thing a young person can do is simply keep going. 💚

Learning to trust yourself, trying new things and stepping outside your comfort zone can feel overwhelming, but confidence is often built in the moments we choose to keep trying.

Anab, who arrived in the UK from Somalia last year, has shared this powerful reminder:

"My advice would be to believe in yourself and not be afraid of making mistakes. Confidence does not come overnight - it grows when you keep trying new things, even when you feel nervous.

"Be patient with yourself, celebrate small achievements, and remember that every step forward is progress."
