Donate to Hertfordshire Libraries

It’s now easy to donate online to the library service by visiting our website. We are often offered donations of money by users who wish to show their appreciation for the service. Those who visit the library are able to do this in person. Now you can also support the library service by donating online. Hertfordshire Libraries are a universal and free service to

the community. Your decision to donate is an entirely voluntary one. We ask that you donate only as much as you feel comfortable with. You may want to consider either a one-off payment or more frequently.

100% of each donation goes directly to Hertfordshire Libraries and is used to maintain and enhance our services. https://www.hertfordshire.gov.uk/librarydonations

We’re excited to share our brand new little bookshelf flyers! 🎉

These are a fun and creative way to keep track of the books you’ve been reading recently. Simply jot down your latest reads on the shelves, and if you fancy a bit of therapeutic downtime, you can colour them in too! 🎨📖

It’s all part of celebrating a love of reading and supporting The National Year of Reading, because reading should always be fun, relaxing, and something to share. 💛

A big thank you to one of our lovely young visitors who brought theirs in to show us, filled with all the brilliant books they’ve read so far! We loved seeing it, and it’s inspired us all 🌟

Why not pick one up next time you visit and give it a go? We’d love to see your bookshelf!
