Celebrating 15 Years of Ferring Healthy Walkers! 🎉
What a fantastic afternoon celebrating the 15th anniversary of the Ferring Healthy Walkers group at Clapham and Patching Village Hall.
Organised by Healthy Walk Leader, Sian, the event brought together past and present walkers and walk leaders to celebrate 15 years of walking, friendship and community. Guests enjoyed a delicious buffet, a heartfelt speech from Sian and a memorable photo slideshow showcasing the group's journey over the years.
Certificates were presented by Donna, Healthy Communities Manager for Arun, recognising dedicated walkers who have been attending for 10, 11, 12 and even 15 years! 👏
The celebration was also an opportunity to thank our incredible volunteer walk leaders for their commitment and support, whatever the weather. Throughout the afternoon, walkers shared stories about the positive impact Healthy Walks have had on their lives, highlighting not just the physical health benefits, but also the friendships and sense of belonging that have been formed.
Healthy Walks take place across Arun, with walks to suit different abilities and paces 📍
