🌈 Everyone's life looks different – and that's why having flexible access to healthcare matters.
As part of our partnership with Cornwall Pride, we're sharing stories from local Pharmacy First ambassadors about how community pharmacies fit into their everyday lives.
For Daze, who is self-employed, time away from work can be difficult to find.
The NHS Pharmacy First service helps people access advice and treatment for a range of common conditions without needing to book a GP appointment. Whether you're working irregular hours, running a business, caring for family or juggling a busy schedule, your local pharmacy may be able to help.
Pharmacists can provide support for:
✅ Earache (children aged 1–17)
✅ Sore throat
✅ Sinusitis
✅ Infected insect bites
✅ Impetigo
✅ Shingles
✅ Uncomplicated urinary tract infections (UTIs) in women
Together with Cornwall Pride, we're helping raise awareness of the services available through community pharmacies and making sure more people know where to turn when they need healthcare advice and support.
