🐼✨ Mini Panda Welcome Packs Are Ready for Collection! ✨🐼

We are excited to share that our Mini Panda Welcome Packs for all new starters joining us throughout the 2026–2027 academic year (September 2026 – July 2027) are now ready to collect.

Each pack includes your allocated sessions, start date, staff information booklet, important forms, and everything you need to begin your journey with us.

All new children have now been added to Tapestry, so please log in when you can to view your child’s profile.

📌 Important:
All EY2c funding forms must be returned no later than Monday 6th July for funding to begin in September.

📍 We are open from 9am–3pm, Monday to Friday, and we would really appreciate packs being collected as soon as possible.
We look forward to handing them out to you over the next week or so.

🌟 Friday Celebration Time! 🌟

It’s Friday, and that means it’s time to celebrate some wonderful awards from this year’s Royal Cornwall Show — and what a year it’s been!
A huge congratulations to everyone. We are so proud of all the hard work from our children and staff.

✨ With Penny, we achieved 1st place in the Edible Eating Planting category — with huge thanks to Bodmin Nursery for their support.
✨ The Bug Hotels with Josie were all awarded Highly Commended, a fantastic achievement.
✨ Our four birds with Charlotte each received Certificates of Entry, showing off the children’s creativity and care.

A massive well done to all our staff and children for their brilliant efforts. We can’t wait to go bigger and better next year — the ideas are already growing! 🌱💛

🌼 A Special Morning at Preschool 🌼

Not every child has a grandma figure in their life, but we are incredibly lucky here at Lanivet & District Under Fives to have Grandma Sue, our wonderful volunteer.

Today she treated the children to a spot of baking, and the whole room now smells absolutely delicious. The children listened so well and made the most wonderful (and very tasty!) biscuits together.

Thank you, Grandma Sue, for bringing so much joy, warmth and magic to our preschool family. 💛🍪

🌸 Royal Cornwall Show Reminder 🌸

Please can I remind you all that Preschool will be closed on Friday 5th June.
Like every year, we’re proud to take part in the Royal Cornwall Show creations within the Flower Tent — and every group has worked so hard on their beautiful displays!

This gives you the perfect chance to visit the show on Friday or Saturday, spot our creations, and snap a few photos for Tapestry while enjoying your day out supporting our wonderful agricultural families.

And remember — it’s show week! You’ll need a coat, suncream, summer hat, sunglasses, winter hat, welly boots, sandals, and everything else in between.

Have a wonderful three days celebrating Cornwall at its best! 🌿🐝🌈

🌼 Happy Half Term, everyone! 🌼

It’s now officially half term and we are closed until Monday 1st June.

Please note that Charlotte will return on Tuesday 2nd June due to family commitments. This means that emails, telephone messages, Tapestry messages and all other communication will not be checked until we are back from our well‑earned annual leave.

On Monday, when we reopen, please be mindful that all the ladies will be in ratio, so messages may take a little longer to respond to, but we will get back to you as soon as we can.

We hope you all have a lovely, restful Half Term. Enjoy the sunshine and time with your families. 🌞💛

Start the Half Term with a bang.

Sun is out, why not go to Lanivet School and support the Year 6 group and Friends of Lanivet School. Lots of lovely items for sale in the main playground. Cash only :)

It's the LAST DAY to support our wonderful YEAR 6 BUILD A BUSINESS PROJECT!

Be sure to bring your change and help our lovely entrepreneurs raise money!

All students will participate in a group trip to the beautiful FALMOUTH UNIVERSITY and partake in their very own Graduation alongside experiencing a full day touring the Uni and joining workshops!

What an incredible opportunity for the students of Lanivet School 😊

We’re ending the week with some fantastic awards for our wonderful preschool children.

🏅 You’ve Been Amazing Award – Lowen
For working ever so hard on his phonics at preschool. Brilliant effort, Lowen!

🎓 Certificate of Recognition – Byron
For being incredibly brave talking about haircuts and discovering how fun it can be. He looked so smart and proud for our school photos.

🥗 Packed Lunchbox Award – Ginny
For exploring new tastes at preschool and bringing in a beautifully colourful, healthy lunchbox yesterday. She tried new flavours with such confidence.

🍎 Exploring New Foods Award – Ava
For enjoying new foods at home, sharing them on her Tapestry, and trying new foods at preschool too. Amazing exploring, Ava!
