Tomorrow we welcome Scoops n Smiles back to the Heritage Centre!

They've been super popular and for good reason - they serve up real dairy ice cream in a great selection of flavours, all delicious and great for hot days (which are hopefully coming back to us soon! 😭). So if you find yourself on a nice long walk in the Derwent Valley, end it in style with a lovely cold sweet treat.

See you there

The Live Music offer at our Heritage Centre keeps on going - we have 2 great local bands for you performing in our Courtyard on Saturday 27th June, 12pm - 2.30pm.

‘Evergreen’ are three musicians playing multiple instruments with accompanying vocals and blended harmonies. They will be performing songs from popular music’s ‘golden years’ that will always be ‘evergreen’. Expect to tap your toes along to tunes by Lindisfarne, Rod Stewart, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Neil Young and more.

‘Northern Roots’ are Bill Elliott (Elliott’s of Birtley), Kevin Youldon and Katherine Raine. Bill and Kevin play a variety of instruments – Guitars, Mandolin, Cittern and have played music together for over 30 years. Katherine plays Fiddle and is a fine musician.

Free daytime event for our customers- so grab a bite to eat and a drink, sit back and enjoy live music in the beautiful Derwent Valley.
