The next day after Joan got a charm to kill Donald. Regina is seen sleeping as she woke up sweating looking scared.

Regina: no no not dad,dad can't die(stands up,picks her bible and starts to pray)

unknown: Regina your father must not eat any kind of tea from anybody even his wife if he does he will die!!!

Regina: no he can't die , heavenly father God almighty I come before you for the sake of my father he doesn't deserve to die (continues praying)

In the kitchen

Joan: (adding the poison to the tea), I can't wait for this to work and kill Donald, let me go and check ava.

Unknown to Joan, she didn't know that Regina was listening to what she was saying since

Regina: oh my God Mum wants to kill dad but why?(goes to the tea)

Regina: so this is what she wants to use to kill dad,I must pour it away now no she can't kill dad.

After regina quickly made another tea,she left the kitchen as Joan came back and went to give Donald the tea.

Joan: babe your tea is ready(notices regina),hey you what are you doing just sitting down there go and wash those plates in the kitchen jor

regina: ok ma

Joan:(sees donald), baby come take your tea

Donald: I don't have the time babe I am already late.

Joan: no babe just drink it (forces it into his mouth)

Donald: Babe!!!

Joan: what is it? you have to at least take tea before going now you can go

Donald: fine bye (kisses her), bye ava

ava: bye dad.

unknown to Donald, regina was already waiting for him outside to explain everything to him

Regina: dad!

Donald: ahahn regina what are you doing here?

Regina: I wanted to tell you something.

Donald: and what is that?

Regina: it's about mum she wants to kill you

Donald: wait you mean Joan wants to kill me how is that possible I am her husband

Regina: I heard her saying that she added a charm to your tea and that when you drink it you will die.

Donald: what!! but I already drank the tea so I will die

Regina: no you wont beacuse i poured the tea she prepared away and i made another one which was the one you drank.

Donald: i am confused you know what regina,I will see you when I get back.

As soon as Joan shot sniper,she heard a sound of something falling close to the back of the brownfield yard and becomes suspicious.

Joan: who's there? answer me !

Joan: (checking whether anyone is there), I'm just being delusional anyways goodbye Sniper(smiles)

After Joan got back home,Donald told her that he wanted to have a conversation with her about somethings.

Joan: babe what do you want to talk to me about?, is it serious?

Donald:(sighs), your mum told me that you slapped regina today,why?

Joan: what ! I think she misunderstood what I did.

Donald: pls don't even act smart right now just answer my question why did you slap regina?

Joan: I said it wasn't a slap I just hit her on the face, I was just playing with her o

Donald ': how is what you did playing?, there is a mark on her face, I came in and I saw your mum helping her to treat it

Joan: look I honestly do not have the time for all these yes i slapped her and I did it because she was being lazy it is not that big of a deal

Donald: (furious), listen to me and listen to me very carefully don't you ever in your entire life slap my daughter again or else I will send you packing out of this house

Joan: Donald are you serious right now? you would send me out of the house

Donald: you heard what I said or are you deaf?(leaves)

Joan: (talking to herself), i will sure that you and that idiot that you say you cherish so much,I will murder the both of you in cold blood. Fools! see how he is talking to me because of her.

The next day,Joan left to see a man called Baba Ewedagi. the man was popular in his village for all his works that he had done for people and most especially if you wanted to kill someone Baba ewedagi is the best for you.

Joan: Hello! hello!.

Baba Ewedagi: yes who is there?(opens door)

Joan: good afternoon sir my name is .

Baba Ewedagi: Joan right? I already know

Joan: wow how did you do that sir?

Baba Ewedagi: well I'm the Baba Ewedagi for a reason. so what are doing here?

Joan: I came to ask for your help Baba to kill my husband and his daughter

Baba Ewedagi: oh you want to kill your husband

Joan: yes I do I hate him so much

Baba Ewedagi: ok then I see why I will come back with a charm and I will explain all that you need to do.

Joan: ok Baba I will be waiting

few minutes later..

Baba Ewedagi: so this is the oparoku charm and the reason why it is called this is because the charm must be used within two days or else the person that wants to kill would die

Joan: don't worry baba I will make sure that Donald uses it within those days.

Baba Ewedagi: pls make sure or else you would be the one that would end up dead.

Sniper: fine I will do it but please don't hurt my family

Joan: good call me when the job is done i need it done today

After Joan's conversation with Sniper she left to her home where a visitor was waiting for her with ava and Regina in the living room.

Joan: (shocked), um mum what are you doing here?

Joan's mum: so I can't come to my grandchildren anymore or do you want to chase me away.

Joan: no mum I'm not trying to do that I am just trying to say that I didn't expect you here

Joan's mum: ok then I just came to see Regina and ava my grandchildren

Joan: Regina? your grandchild? the only grandchild you have here is ava not Regina pls mama

Regina: mum am I not your child?

Joan: (slaps her), don't you ever in your life call me mum again or else I will make sure you regret it,now what are you doing sitting around go and carry broom and start sweeping the house nonsense.

Joan's mum: Joan!!, what do you mean she should sweep again she just recovered naw

Joan: I don't care mum she would still sweep

As Joan left her mother followed her to the room

Joan's mum: this is not what I thought you,I thought you to be kind and not cold

Joan: how am I cold mum? I only told her to sweep the house that is all

Joan's mum: really? After you slapped her?

Joan: (annoyed), look mum i won't have you coming in here to tell me what to do, I am an adult not your baby anymore so please just leave my room

Joan's mum: hmm Joan be careful

Joan: I said leave!!!!!

Few hours after the heated conversation between Joan and her mum,she received a call from Sniper.

Joan: hello baby

Sniper: don't call me that

Joan: oh sorry I forgot you have a family now

Sniper: you also have a family now so stop all those silly baby boy stuff you say to me

Joan: you can't lie that you don't love it when say it to you but anyways have you killed her?

Sniper: yes it is done,so don't ever call me again

Joan: wait not so fast,I want to see her body! where can we meet?

Sniper: But why are you interested in seeing the body

Joan: don't you worry or are you hiding something?

Sniper: ofcourse not meet me at the back of the brownfield yard no one can see us there

Joan: ok that is fine with me baby boy.

Sniper : (hisses and cuts the call)

Joan: (grabs a gun from the back of her wardrobe), this would be highly helpful.
As Joan wanted to leave the house to meet with Sniper, she met with Donald who was coming back from work and hides the gun.

Donald: hey baby how have you been?

Joan: I'm fine how was work?

Donald: work was okay, so where are going to this night?

Joan: I'm just heading out to get some groceries it is almost finished.

Donald: how is that possible? I told ada to restock the groceries just yesterday.

Joan: um maybe she forgot let me get going now

Donald: ok bye

After Joan left Donald called someone and asked them whether he/she could do a job for him.

Joan got to the back of brownfield yard and saw Sniper there too.

Joan: so where's the body?

Sniper: its there ,don't go too close she doesn't look so good

Joan: I've been dealing with this kind of things for years Sniper no need to tell me.

Sniper: ok then i will be leaving now

Joan: come on Sniper wait don't you love me anymore I missed your soft tender lips

Sniper: look how many times would I have to say this,I have a family, I have a wife now that I love so much so stop with all of this.

Joan: fine does she know about your past or are you keeping secrets from her

Sniper: she knows and she was the one who turned me into a new leaf

Joan: fine then if I'm not happy Sniper then you can't be happy (pulls out her guns) goodbye Sniper (shoots him).

The next day,regina was getting released from the hospital while Joan went out to see sniper.

Regina:(wakes up)

Donald: Regina! you are awake,how are you my dear.

regina: yes dad I'm awake.

Doctor: so how is your head? are you having any troubles breathing

regina: um no I'm just having a little migraine

doctor: ok then um Mr Wilson I have prescribed the drugs that she is supposed to use for a week,you can go meet the nurse at the medical hub so she can give the drugs to you.

Donald: ok sir I will do that now

Joan is seen at the front door of an apartment knocking the door as a man opens up.

Sniper:(shocked), what what are you doing here?

Joan: is that how you greet an old friend sniper?

sniper; old friend?, as if and my name is femi not sniper ok that's not my name anymore.

Joan: ok um can I chat with you sniper for just some minutes?

sniper: you have only five minutes

Joan: ok then let's talk somewhere more private

sniper: ok follow me to the backyard

Joan: ok

Sniper: so what did you want to speak to me about?

Joan: I want you to kill someone for me

sniper: what!! are you ok? or are you deaf,I told you that I am now a Christian and I don't do those things anymore.

Joan: don't speak to me like that sniper don't you forget who you are talking to right now

sniper: I can't kill anyone

Joan; oh you will trust me or I will kill the one thing that you treasure the most

sniper: what is that?

Joan: your family! I will murder them right before your eyes

sniper: no you can't do that

Joan: oh yes I can

sniper: But why can't you kill the person yourself

Joan: I can't have anyone suspect me right now

Sniper:(hesitates), so who do you want to kill?

Joan: you mean who do I want you to kill for me

sniper: yea I guess

Joan: Tina George,a nurse

sniper: why would you want to kill a nurse?

Joan: so I hate my step daughter and I hired a nurse to inject with a weak dose while she was in the hospital sick because her mum needed money for her treatment so i made a deal that i would help her mom then some days later, Donald started to suspect and I have to kill her so she won't expose me.

sniper: But you made a deal with her? now you want to kill her? I never knew you were this heartless.

Joan: oh I'm more heartless than you think so are you doing it or not?, I NEED AN ANSWER!

Gabriel and Joan are seen having jollof rice and turkey while smiling at one another but Joan noticed that the time has passed.

Joan: the time is gone Gabriel,I have to go now or Donald would notice something

Gabriel: (annoyed), so when would you come back?

Joan: soon don't worry baby,we will soon finish him and collect his properties

Gabriel: yea ok, I love you baby

Joan: I love you more and please remember don't message me,we don't want Donald to notice something.

Gabriel: I won't my love

Joan: I will really miss you (kisses him)

After Gabriel and Joan said their good byes to each other Joan entered her jeep and left to her home meanwhile Donald has been waiting for her to arrive since morning as Joan arrives.

Donald: where have you been?

Joan: um I went to get some things at the supermarket

Donald: so where are the things you bought?

Joan: they are in the car I was tired so I couldn't bring it in

Donald: ok then no problem ava is already sleeping in her room

Joan:that's good,I will go check up on her

Donald: so how was your meeting for the clothing deal?

Joan: clothing deal?

Donald: yes you told me that you were going today to sign the deal,that's why you didn't manage to see Regina.

Joan: Oh yeah the meeting was fine,anyways how is um Regina doing now?

Donald: she's fine now ,she is recovering quickly so she should be able to be back by Wednesday

Joan: wow that is exciting news

Donald:yea it is but im still wondering about how her condition worsened that day.

Joan: maybe it was just the side effects of the bleach that she drank kicking in

Donald: no I think that one of the nurses gave her wrong treatment

Joan:(worried), what!,no I don't think so,the hospital is one of the most prestigious hospitals in the world,so I don't think it's possible for their workers to be so ignorant

Donald: yeah you are right I can't believe I started to doubt their workers.

After the conversation between Donald and Joan, Joan became worried that Donald would figure out that a nurse has been giving regina a weak dose to make Regina's treatments useless and impotent so she gave a call to nurse Tina.

nurse tina: hello ma,is there anything wrong,I gave her another weak dose today

Joan: hi nurse Tina i need you to stop giving regina the weak dose because my husband is starting to suspect but I distracted him from it

nurse Tina: ok ma but what about...

Joan: your money right?, I will send a sum of 35 million for your mum's heart surgery and I will also give you 20 million to take care of yourself,start a business and quit your job at the hospital.

nurse Tina: ha ma God bless you ma thank you so much ma!

Joan: you are welcome make sure you send your account details to me right now.

nurse Tina: ok ma I will do that now,Goodbye ma

Joan:(cuts the call and laughs), does that nurse really think that I would allow her to go just like that,a whole me,Mrs Joan Wilson sending 55 million naira to one fool,i have better things to use the money for than helping those wretched beings,God forbid it, I have to call Sniper for this elimination.

Few days after Joan's conversation with the nurse Tina,Regina's condition started to worsen and the doctor called Donald to talk to him about it. The family are seen having breakfast in the morning as Donald receives a call from the doctor.

doctor: hi Mr Wilson,how are you doing today?

Donald: hi doctor I'm doing OK sir

doctor: ok um I want to talk to you about regina condition

Donald; is everything okay with her?

doctor: um actually her condition has severely worsened.

Donald: (shocked), what!!, but you told be before that she was getting better and that she would even be released soon

doctor: I also thought so sir,she was recovering the last time but when I did another test,she just stopped responding to treatments.

Donald: so what can i do now?

doctor: Well i will need you to come to the hospital to pay some extra fees for organising another treatments for regina.

Donald: ok doctor I will be right there now(cuts the call)

Joan: darling what's going on?

Donald: the doctor just called that Regina's condition is getting worse and that they need more money for organising another treatment.

Joan: oh my God so what will we do now?

Donald: I'm going to have to go to the hospital to pay for the money.

Joan: I really wish I could follow you baby but I have to go see that manager of that company that I was talking about today for the sealing of that deal I told you about.

Donald: oh the clothing deal?

Joan: yes so ava would follow you

ava:(hits her mum), mum I really have some assignments to do

Joan:(winks at ava), you will finish the work some other day,you have to help your sister.

ava: ok yes I have to help my sister

Donald: Good I will go get dressed now

ava: mum why would say that i should go with him to see that stupid girl.

Joan: calm down ava,I have a plan or don't you want that girl to suffer,you want your father to treat her better than you abi

ava: I do want her to suffer mum,she must

Joan: good so I will be leaving now to attend to somethings ok,I will be back soon,tell your dad I'm gone ok

ava: ok mum I love you

Joan: I love you more my baby

Few minutes later,Joan arrives at a house that looks like a bungalow as a man came outside and looked like he was waiting for her to come.

Gabriel: hey babe

Joan: hey my cutie boy

Gabriel: I missed you so much

Joan: I missed you more,Donald has just been disturbing for that useless thing I told you about.

Gabriel: by useless thing you mean regina?,

Joan:yes that girl

Gabriel: anyways I missed your kiss so much baby

Joan: I missed yours too

Gabriel: I can't wait to marry you and for you to be mine forever.

Joan: me too babe,just some weeks more and all Donald's property would be all ours once we unleash our next plan.

Gabriel: yes and you and our daughter Ava would come to live with me and we would become a family forever.

Joan: I can't wait baby(kisses gabriel and smiles)

After the fake pretence of both Joan and her daughter,the doctor called Mr Donald and his family that they can see Regina now.

Regina:(on the hospital bed laying helplessly)

Joan: look at her,she must be so weak now,(held Regina's hands), we will all make sure you are ok my dear(cries), I'm sorry for the way I treated you.

doctor:um Mrs Wilson she has to rest now,I just said maybe you guys could come see her state

Joan; ok doctor

After Donald finished talking to the doctor about the costs on the treatments of Regina's condition,he came back to the family.

Donald: so the doctor said that I will have to pay a sum of 1.5 million for the treatment of regina

Joan:(shocked), what!, did you pay it?

Donald: ofcourse I did isn't she our daughter?

Joan:(fakes laughs), yes ofcourse she is

Joan:(talking to herself), I can't believe he is willing to pay that much money for that useless girl

Donald: ok let's go home now,I would be going to work tomorrow so you and ava would have to come to the hospital to take care of regina.

Ava:(to herself), taking care of a person that is not even related to me, a person that is not my blood(hisses)

Joan:sure I and ava would love to come and take care of regina.

Donald: I'm so happy that you guys are finally treating regina like your blood.

Ava:(to herself), it's not only blood its water,that ugly looking thing

The next day,Donald had already gone to work while it was only ava and Joan at home , they decided to head to the hospital to 'visit' regina but they had other plans. When they got to Regina's room,they met with a nurse who was giving regina
treatments but looked sad in the process but not because of regina so Joan decided to approach her.

Joan: um ava stay here with regina nurse please can I see you outside.

nurse(tina): sure ma

Joan: you look sad may I ask what the problem is

nurse(tina): Well ma ,my name is tina and I am 24 years old,my mother is currently suffering from chronic heart disease and the treatment costs alot of money and I do not have the amount and if I don't find the money,my mum would die

Joan: hmm , that's sad,what if I tell you that there is a way that I can solve your problem.

nurse: aha anything ma

joan: I need you to inject the girl inside there with a weak dose so she won't recover immediately.

nurse: ma but i thought the girl is your daughter

Joan: she isn't she is my step daughter and that is none of your business. the only thing you have to do is inject her and you get your money to take care of your mother so think before you answer me.

nurse: (hesitates)ok ma I will do it

Joan; Good answer, now let me make something clear, you must not under any circumstances tell anyone about this deal or else I will get both you and your mother killed and if you even dare to play smart with me,just know not to try it because I will make sure you suffer till eternity.

nurse: ok ma when should I start giving her the dose?

Joan: give me your number first and I will call you

the nurse then left and went back to Regina's room.

Donald and Joan are seen going to the car to meet chinedu to save the life of regina while ava is no where to be seen and Joan starts to look for her.

Donald; (confused), who are you looking for ?

Joan: my daughter of course I can't find her

Donald: A girl is about to either live or die and you are here saying you are looking for ava.

Joan: pls Donald,don't do this today abeg,I said I'm looking for my daughter,so I should abandon my daughter to go take some thing to the hospital.

Donald: wow,you are so heartless,chinedu let's go,if you can't go with me it is fine you and your ava can come to the hospital later

Joan; (hisses) it's not like I wanted to follow you before rubbish(leaves)

Chinedu: sir are we leaving now?

Donald: yeah let's go, please drive fast(enters the car)

ava is seen smiling in the corner as Donald and chinedu leave for the hospital and she notices her mum looking worried and calling her name

ava: mum,mum I'm here

joan: ava where did you go?

ava: I know how much you don't like that girl and I didn't want you to stress yourself to the stupid hospital so I hid and I knew you would come and find me.

Joan:(smiles), oh my God you are so smart,you took after me with intelligence and everything.

ava:yes mum ofcourse

Joan:(laughs), that girl hasn't seen anything yet she drank common bleach and she is shouting her stomach,it was so funny to watch

ava: yes mum,she hasn't even seen anything yet o,I think we should punish her more at the hospital, it is the right opportunity since dad would have work.

Joan: yes ava,it is, we could pretend to care for her and then I bribe some doctors to inject her with weak dose so she won't recover immediately.

ava:yes mum,oh my goodness we are so smart mum,should we head to the hospital now

Joan: yes let me grab my key from the room.

After Joan grabbed her keys,her and ava started heading to the hospital meanwhile Donald and chinedu had already reached the hospital with Regina's unconscious body.

Doctor: please can Mr Donald Wilson come into my office?

Donald: sure doctor

Doctor: so you must be the father of regina?

Donald: yes i am doctor is anything wrong?

Doctor: Well, I'm sorry to say this to you sir,regina drank a lot of bleach that really affected her body system,It's also affected her heart rate and caused some serious complications.

Donald: oh my goodness,please nothing can happen to her,I'm the only one she has left after her mother died.

Doctor: we will try out best Mr Wilson.

Donald: thank you doctor

Ava and Joan were already in the hospital as they noticed Donald coming out of the doctor's office and they started their pretence.

Joan: Donald what did the doctor say?

Donald: as if you care

Joan: come on don't be like that please I and ava want to apologise for our rude behaviour towards regina and from now on we would do anything to take care of her and get her through this

ava: (fakes cries), yes dad I'm sorry I know I'm an embarrassment to you for what I did

Donald: no my baby pls don't cry you can never be an embarrassment to me I'm glad you guys realised your mistakes I love you both. now we can all become one happy family,I'm still worried about regina,I hope she would be OK

Joan: (talking to herself)one happy family my foot (laughs)
