Along with Get it Loud in Libraries we're bringing you The Orielles live at Blackpool Central Library!
They'll be performing a "Wood Versions" set for a stripped-back celebration of 'Only You Left'.

All Aboard for an awesome morning at Palatine Library where we will be hosting a watch party for 'A Morning With Matt Haig'.
Tea, coffee and biscuits will be served.

Next Monday join internationally bestselling author Matt Haig live as he takes you inside his latest story, The Midnight Train, and the ideas that inspired it.

In this exclusive online event, Matt will reflect on his writing life and the themes that run through so much of his work – from hope and mental health to love, connection and the paths our lives can take.
The session will include a live Q&A, giving borrowers the chance to ask questions about The Midnight Train, acclaimed novels such as The Midnight Library, The Life Impossible, and his much-loved children's books including The Truth Pixie and A Mouse Called Miika.

🔍 Michael Davies - Author visit! 🔎

Agatha Christie, Queen of Crime, would have been celebrating her birthday on the 15th September, so we thought we'd pay homage by having an event to celebrate the first three books by Blackpool's own Crown Prince of Crime, Michael Davies - Author, at Central Library.
We'll uncloak the session at 2pm, for an hour of mystery, murder and (possibly) mayhem.
A free session for all those who enjoy a good crime, as long as it's committed between the pages of a book.
