The Air Cadets is a uniformed youth organisation for 12 (Year 8's) - 20 year olds. 2454 Blackpool Squadron RAFAC is part of the Royal Air Force.

Are you up for fun, adventure, incredible experiences and making new friends? Are you looking for something to give you the edge in life? Then welcome to the Air Cadet Organisation (ACO). Better known as the 'Air Cadets', we’re a UK-wide cadet force with more than 40,000 members aged between 13 and 20 years. We're sponsored by the Royal Air Force and can give you hands-on experience of activities

and courses that will challenge and develop your skills to help you succeed in whatever you want to do.

Last night, we said goodbye and wished the very best of luck to Sgt Allmark and Sgt Fitzpatrick.

They have been with us for over four years and played a huge role in our post-COVID rebuild, helping shape the Squadron into what it is today. As key members of the Squadron NCO team for several years, their commitment, leadership and dedication have made a lasting impact on both the staff and cadets.

From everyone on the Squadron staff, thank you for everything you have done. We wish you both every success and happiness in whatever comes next—you will always be welcome back.

🎉 2454 Blackpool Squadron is turning 60! 🎉
It might not look a day over 21, but on 1st September, 2454 Blackpool Squadron will be celebrating a huge milestone - 60 years of cadets, friendships, adventures, achievements, and memories.
We want to mark this special occasion with both our current members and the many former cadets and staff who have been part of the Squadron's story over the years.
Were you once a cadet at 2454 Blackpool Squadron? Do you have any old photos, stories, or memories from your time with us? We would love to see them!
We are especially keen to find photos from our earliest days, including any of our original cadets from when the Squadron was based in Layton.
