🍎 Free School Meals Eligibility is Changing from September 2026

Many more families may be entitled to Free School Meals from September 2026 and may not realise they qualify.

Applying is quick, simple and completely confidential. If your child is eligible, it could help save your family money on school meals while also providing additional funding that supports learning and resources across our school.

We encourage all families to check their eligibility, even if you have applied before or think you may not qualify.

There’s so much happening this term, so make sure you get these important dates in your diaries now!

Our annual Sports Days are just around the corner (weather permitting!), and we can't wait to see our pupils showcasing their teamwork, determination and sporting spirit. Families are warmly invited to come along and cheer on the children as they take part in a range of exciting events.

🕺🎶 Get ready to rewind to the 1990s! 🎶💃

We're delighted to announce the date of our much-anticipated Annual Dance Festival! 🌟

This year's theme is The 1990s, and excitement is already building throughout the school. From iconic pop hits to classic dance moves, our children and staff are busy preparing for a fantastic celebration of all things 90s.

There's one member of staff who is particularly excited... 👀 Mr Warren is already dusting off his favourite dance moves and can't wait to hit the dance floor! 🕺✨

Join us at 2pm on Friday 19th June for an unforgettable afternoon of music, dancing, and fun. We can't wait to see our talented performers bring the spirit of the 90s to life!

A huge well done to our amazing Year 6 children for all their hard work and resilience during a challenging SATs week! We are so proud of the determination, positivity and effort they have shown throughout. 🌟

Today was all about celebrating their achievements with garlic bread, pizza, chips and a special visit from the ice cream van 🍕🍟🍦

Even Mr Haworth let his hair down this afternoon and was spotted dreaming he was playing at Ewood Park! ⚽
