Raffle Prizes & Cakes, Arts & Crafts. All made by the Young People of Blackburn with Darwen at the Platform 5 day centre at Nightsafe.
All proceeds go to Nightsafe to help alleviate the plight of homeless young adults aged 16 – 24 in Blackburn with Darwen

Amazing News!! Nightsafe has been awarded a Reaching Communities grant by The BIG Lottery!! This will fund the Day-centre for the next 3 years and help set up a new mentoring scheme to give young people 1:1 support when they go for appointments etc.

Young people in Platform 5 Day-centre are creating a new piece of Art work for the new bike hire shelter on Blackburn Station with the help of local artist Alastair Nicholson

The Day-centre football team did really well in their league today they won 4 drew 2 and lost 1! Well done! Here they are with Hojae our volunteer from South Korea who headed home today! Thanks for all your hard work.

Thanks to all the staff and volunteers who helped me celebrate my 20 years working for Nightsafe today! I'd like to say I have enjoyed every minute!! But I can say I have enjoyed most of them! So a big thank you to everyone who has helped me along the way over these many years!

The number of young people using the Day-centre in 2013 has increased by 29% to 933!! 275 young people stayed in our emergency night shelter last year.
