❌⚠️ BIKES ⚠️❌

We are sharing the below post from our neighbouring force, Cleveland Police around e-scooters, electric bikes etc.

If you have bought your child one, then it is to be used wisely. NOT on the road, NOT on the pavement and NOT causing a nuisance.

We hear you:
'the bairns just having fun'.

But what isn't fun is when they are knocked off the bike and either seriously injured or killed.

We also hear you:
'won't happen to my bairn'. Don't be so confident.

Be a responsible parent and have control. No parent should have to bury their child.

Think twice.
