Bishop Auckland Walled Gardens at The Auckland Project — finally strutting their stuff and coming into glorious bloom!
I love how this aerial view shows the garden’s perfect lines and riot of colours all at once. It’s like Mother Nature decided to do a bit of filing and colour-coding. Rows of veg, fruit, herbs and flowers all packed in with military precision — though I’m convinced the gardeners have a secret ruler and spirit level hidden somewhere.
Anyone else get a weird satisfaction from seeing gardens so neat? Or is it just me…
