After the success the first time around , we’re excited to start another A Stitch in Time - a gentle, welcoming space to pause and reconnect through creativity 💙

Whether you’re interested in embroidery, patchwork, tapestry, crochet or simply want to try something new, this beginner-friendly session is a chance to learn, create and connect in a relaxed environment 🌸🧶

Our Youth Summer Camp has been a huge success, with lots of children and young people joining us for an action-packed programme of sport, movement and fun! 🙌

From team sports to activities that got everyone moving, there was something for everyone. ⚽🏀🏐🏃‍♂️

We believe that fitness and healthy habits start from a young age. Giving children the opportunity to be active, try different sports and make new friends can help set positive habits for life.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part and helped make our summer camp such a success! 👏

Join Saathi House for our Summer Walks- a series of scenic and social walks across Birmingham.

📍 Wednesday 19th August - Edgbaston Reservoir
🕧 12:30pm - 2:30pm

📍 Tuesday 25th August - Aston Park
🕙 10am - 11:30am

📍 Wednesday 2nd September - Broad Street Canals
🕥 10:30am- 2pm
☕ Includes a stop at a local café

🚐 Transport will be provided to and from each location from Saathi House.

What a way to kick off the European Athletics Championships here in Birmingham 🇬🇧

On Monday, the first day of the Championships, the ladies from Saathi House had an absolute blast cheering from the stands and experiencing the excitement of elite athletics- from hurdles and long jump to shot put! 🏃🏽‍♀️🏋🏽‍♀️

This summer has been all about Health & Wellbeing at Saathi House 💚
From cycling and Walk & Talk sessions to NFL Flag Football and youth multisports, we’ve been encouraging women and young people to get active, try something new, build confidence and enjoy the physical and mental wellbeing that movement can bring.

And what better way to celebrate that than by watching some of the best athletes in Europe compete right here in Birmingham! 🙌🏽

We also loved hearing Romell Glave’s winning mindset:

“When I woke up this morning, mentally I was ready to win this gold medal.” 🥇

A huge congratulations to and to Team GB on their fantastic performances so far! 🇬🇧👏🏽

Do you have a passion for supporting young people and creating opportunities for them to thrive? Saathi House is looking for a dedicated Youth Theme Lead to join our team and make a lasting difference.

In this role, you’ll:
• Lead our Youth workstream and shape our Youth Strategy
• Manage and support the Youth team
• Plan and deliver engaging youth activities, workshops and holiday programmes
• Monitor impact through feedback, evaluation and reporting
• Create a safe, inclusive and welcoming environment

What we’re looking for:
✔️ Experience in youth work
✔️ Strong safeguarding and child protection knowledge
✔️ Excellent communication and leadership skills
✔️ Passion for empowering young people from diverse communities
✔️ Organised, proactive and committed to making a positive impact

A wonderful start to our Summer Walks! 🌿💙

Today we headed to Handsworth Park for the first of our Summer Walks, and it was fantastic to see so many women coming together to get active and enjoy the fresh air.

Every step was a reminder of how spending time outdoors can support both our physical and mental wellbeing💚
