Please note that the crews may leave early if the vehicles become full, so we recommend arriving by 11:30am where possible.

The event will now take place in the autumn. We will share the new date with you as soon as it has been arranged.

The wonky lamppost on Barnes Hill has now been straightened.
We're not sure what originally caused it to lean, but safety barriers had been placed around it after concerns were raised. We recently noticed that it appeared to be leaning even further, so we reported it.
The good news is that the lamppost is now standing straight again, although we're not sure why this couldn't have been done in the first place. Larger safety barriers have now been installed around the area.
We'll continue to keep an eye on the situation and provide any further updates if needed.

Thank you to everyone who used the MHWC yesterday. It was great to see so many people disposing of their unwanted items responsibly.

📍 While at the MHWC yesterday, we were approached by a few residents with concerns and questions.
Although some of these issues are no longer our direct responsibility, we still care about our community and are always happy to help where we can.
Two of the concerns raised were about fly-tipping. We visited both locations and have reported the issues to the relevant department for action.
Thanks to everyone who stopped to speak with us. We're always here to listen and help point people in the right direction when needed.
