This week young people have been busy creating various cards & crafts for Fathers Day, model making, making pizza, planting flowers, & with all the nice weather enjoying the outside open space at the centre & finally tonight enjoying the mobile climbing wall👍

For tonight's year 6 & 7 session have the mobile climbing wall 🤩 parental consent forms will be needed to take part. The Centre will be open from 4.00pm if anyone needs to pick a form up before the session starts👍

Each year we take part in raising water safety awareness – this year feels particularly poignant. We’re sharing simple advice that could help save a life.

If you remember one thing around water, let it be this: Float to Live.

If you fall into the water:

✔ Tilt your head back (ears submerged)
✔ Relax and control your breathing
✔ Move your hands and legs gently
✔ Don’t worry if your legs sink
✔ Once calm, call for help or swim to safety

Due to staffing issues the centre will not reopen tonight but we will be back open on Monday. A reminder that on Mondays the centre opens 6.00pm - 7.15pm then staff will be doing outreach in Bilsthorpe👍

Last week before half term & the weathers improved 🌞 Young people have spent lots of time outdoors on the MUGA playing football, tennis. Also lots of exercise & fresh air out on the play trail & gym equipment throughout the week...however many ventured in to celebrate National Sandwich Week🤣🥪
