Deeply concerning to see Staffordshire County Council's Leader, Ian Cooper, registered on Facebook as a 'top fan' on a page which incites a racist rhetoric towards non-whites. He must immediately apologise and step down from his role, this is concerning and once again shows the mess in vetting Reform UK have. The page also has posts implying our war veterans should have allied with N**i Germany so the UK would be 'white and beautiful', a betrayal to those who lost their lives for us. Only the Liberal Democrats are doing the hard yards in local and national government to represent constituents in the way they want, no matter their race, gender or religious belief.

Tim Farron is right, not lifting the family farm tax and lack of commitment by Labour to rural poverty is something felt across his constituency in the Lake district and here in the Moorlands. The Lib Dems will always back British farmers, who've been abandoned by the Labour government's incompetence.

Pubs across the Staffordshire Moorlands deserve a better deal, this will happen with the Lib Dems!
