Due to the expected heat wave next week, we will no longer be holding our Meet the Guide Dogs event on Tuesday 26th May.

We sat down with our Language Café volunteer at Bicester Library to discuss how the club is running. See what he has to say:

"The club has running for nearly 10 months now and the café has since broadened and developed. Initially the only individuals attending were predominantly from Hong Kong or Ukraine. However, 10 months on we now have attendees from: India, Venezuela, Spain, Iran, and Ukraine.

Attendees have reported that the Language Café has a nice community feeling to it and it is a very friendly group. It’s lovely that it is organised as a drop-in and drop-out session so the public can attend as many sessions as they wish and come and go as when convenient for them."

Language Café runs every Monday 5:00pm-7:00pm and every Saturday 1:00pm-3:00pm and welcomes new members. Free tea and coffee are included.
