A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for Sundays in the Park yesterday – what a fantastic day! It was wonderful to see so many people enjoying the music and spending time together in the park.

We’re already looking forward to the next Sundays in the Park on Sunday 12th July, featuring Oxford Cherwell Brass and Space Pigs. We hope to see you there!

Before then, the next Bicester Town Council event is our Flag Raising and Armed Forces Day celebration at Pingle Field on Saturday 27th June 2026. We can’t wait to come together once again and look forward to seeing you there!

Temporary Traffic Regulation Notice.

A Temporary Traffic Regulation Order is being made for a temporary road closure to apply to a length of B4100, whilst essential resurfacing failed areas of carriageway and footpath, re-aligning street lighting columns and replacing a bollard works are carried out. The temporary closure of B4100 will operate from 22nd June 2026 up to and including 27th June 2026. This will operate between 20:00 to 06:00.

Please note that Notices for urgent works can last up to 5 consecutive days only.

🎶☀️ Sundays in the Park returns this Sunday, 14th June! ☀️🎶

Join us for the second Sundays in the Park event of the season. The weather is set to be bright and sunny, making it the perfect day to relax in the park, enjoy some great live music, and spend time with family and friends.

🍔 Food and refreshments will be available from Garth Park Kitchen, so come along and make an afternoon of it!

🇬🇧 Armed Forces Day & Flag Raising Ceremony – Saturday 27th June at Pingle Field 🇬🇧

This year, our annual Flag Raising Ceremony has been combined with our Armed Forces Day celebrations, bringing everything together into one fantastic community event!

We would love to see as many people as possible join us from 11:00am to watch the Armed Forces Day Flag Raising Ceremony. Raising the Armed Forces Day flag is an important way to show our support and appreciation for those who serve, or have served, in the Armed Forces, as well as their families. It is a proud symbol of the nation's gratitude for their dedication, sacrifice and commitment to keeping us safe.

After the flag raising, stay and enjoy a great day of entertainment, military displays and family fun – all completely FREE to attend!

Temporary Traffic Regulation Notice.

A Temporary Traffic Regulation Order is being made for a temporary road closure to apply to a length of Bicester Road whilst essential new water connection works are carried out. The temporary closure of Bicester Road will operate from 8th June 2026 up to and including 11th June 2026. This is a 24hr closure.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and Bicester Live yesterday for the very first Sundays in the Park! What a fantastic afternoon of music, community, and sunshine.

The good news is that it doesn't end there — we still have four more events to go! Our next Sundays in the Park will be on Sunday 14th June, and we can't wait to do it all again.

A special thank you to Ukesnaile, Bicester Concert Band, and Malish, who were absolutely amazing and helped make the day such a success.

Looking ahead to our next event, we're excited to welcome Hook Norton Brass Band along with some talented local soloists.

And finally, a big thank you to Garth Park Kitchen for putting on a lovely spread and helping keep everyone refreshed throughout the afternoon.

We hope to see you all again on 14th June at Garth Park from 12:30pm!
