The WFDC Spatial Issues and Local Priorities Consultation is now live. This is an important early stage in preparing a new Local Plan. They want to hear from you to better understand what matters most to local communities before detailed policies are developed. It is your chance to help identify the issues and options for the district.

The consultation covers a wide range of topics including, climate change, housing, jobs, town centres, transport, infrastructure, biodiversity, health, green spaces and community facilities.

Feedback gathered through the consultation will help build a clearer picture of local needs, priorities and aspirations, informing the next stage of work on the new Local Plan.

The consultation closes on Monday 28 September.

Focused on ensuring West Mercia Police keeps you informed and victims updated, PCC John Campion is focusing on communication in his latest Public Assurance & Accountability session.

As ‘Policing with the community’ is a key priority, the PCC wants to understand how you experience communication from the force - what works, what doesn’t, and where improvements are needed. Feedback will shape future scrutiny and help drive practical changes.
