Almost 200 electric vehicle charging points are being installed in our car parks, at council buildings and at nature reserves across the district.

We're working with Flowbird Smart City UK and Opcharge UK to install the devices in 22 car parks - they're starting the installations next month and the whole project is due to be completed by the end of the year.

The installation of EV charging points is part of our Climate Action and Carbon Reduction Plan.

Excellent news from WFDC and a big THANK YOU to the Conservative Administration.

From Monday 6 November we’re introducing a new free one hour weekday parking scheme in Gardners Meadow car park in Bewdley.

The offer is available Monday to Friday from 8am until 6pm - you just need a ticket from the machine (you can’t use the MiPermit app for your free hour). You can only use the offer once a day.

The scheme’s being introduced in a bid to help businesses in the town. The Environment Agency is introducing a traffic management scheme due to the flood barrier works. Traders have raised concerns about the impact it may have on the economy in the town.
