We are concerned about the reports of abuse across the campaign trail.

As our Chief Executive Olivia Field said when speaking to The Guardian: “Too many candidates, their families and their teams, from all sides of the political spectrum, have experienced abuse, harassment and threats during this year’s elections. This represents one of the biggest threats to the functioning of our democracy."

🚧 A164/Jock's Lodge junction scheme.

From Monday 27 April, road surfacing works will start on Skidby Roundabout. These works will be split into two phases to minimise disruption and maintain north and south traffic flow on the A164.

🧭 Eastern phase
During this phase, the eastern side of the roundabout will be closed. There will be no access between Cottingham and the Skidby Roundabout between 8pm and 5am.
Three-way temporary traffic lights will control traffic on the A164 and vehicles travelling to and from Skidby via the roundabout.

🧭 Western phase
During this phase, the western side of the roundabout will be closed. There will be no access between Skidby and the Skidby Roundabout between 8pm and 5am.
Three-way temporary traffic lights will be in operation to manage A164 traffic and vehicles travelling to and from Cottingham.
