That was a long day, up at 6am drove to Chorley to collect JB & then to a WRGB meeting followed by recce of stage exterior then onto Brenig to check on construction work, meal, Chorley & home for 10:20 pm

Our stage is looking great, more to follow soon but now zzzz

This morning I agreed a later than usual signing on time for stage, don’t get excited as it’s still the middle of the night but we save 30 minutes.. sorry to tell you this now but you may as well get it in your head... signing on of marshals is 4am.

Our recruitment has gone extremely well, we are full for marshals & radios, thank you all for volunteering it is very much appreciated and I look forward to working with you all.

As of next week I will send more information out.

My grateful thanks go to our friends from Eire, who are bringing a team of 21 marshals including our stage safety officer the current Marshal of the year John Comiskey, I had the recent pleasure of assisting this great team on the Donegal rally.

This weekend I will be at the first northern region meeting that I’ve been able to make, IoM & Ireland got in the way previously.

My plan is to collect the Binn man Sunday am and leave Chorley 9am, drive to some little Welsh village for the meeting then off to drive the drive exterior of Shakedown then a quick trip into Brenig for JB to see the building works before returning home to Halifax via Chorley well & truly knackered.

I should be able to give you more of an update after the meeting.

I have very little (no) information so far.. but if you have any questions please ask & I will do my best to answer them.

I am going to stage for a second recce in Saturday.
Tony Johnston is going to do a footpath recce and we need to also check the external entrances.

More information as and when it is all downloaded and processed, after Goodwood Festival of Speed.

We still have a few jobs that need volunteers, if anyone has an inclination to help organise the stage I will be very pleased to share some of the tasks.
