The Bursary Administration Unit administers Nursing & Midwifery bursaries and on course expenses to commissioned pre-registration students studying at Queens University, Belfast & University of Ulster, Londonderry.

Students who are due to collect their first payment by cheque tomorrow at Magee please refer to the schedule below. Please remember to bring your student ID card. No cheque payment can be issued without presentation of this card.

Ulster University September 2025 Nursing Cohort Notification:

Students commencing nurse training at Ulster University Derry/Londonderry Campus on Monday 15th September should now have received a bursary application pack via their personal and university email accounts.

Completed applications and all supporting documents must be posted to the Bursary Office no later than Monday, 22nd September. Emailed applications are not accepted.

Queens University September 2025 Nursing & Midwifery Cohort Notification:

Students beginning nurse or midwifery training at Queens University Belfast on either 1st or 8th September 2025 should now have received a bursary application pack via their personal email. Completed applications and all supporting documents must be posted to the Bursary Office no later than Monday, 8th September.
