All deposits have been returned to those unsuccessful students, some of which have been placed on a waiting list at their request.

Second deposit as highlighted on the initial letter is due by Fri 19th June.

A huge thank you to past pupil and personal trainer Brandon Corr for giving up his time today to speak with our Year 11 Engineering group about men’s mental health and the importance of looking after yourself both physically and mentally.

Afterwards, Brandon put the boys through their paces with a gym session which they absolutely loved! 💪

The boys took so much from today and are incredibly grateful for Brandon’s time, honesty and support. Thank you for making such a positive impact 👏

If you are in receipt of one of the following, you will need to upload a Proof of Benefit letter when applying for Free School Meals and Uniform Allowance for the 2026/27 academic year:

➡️ Guarantee Element of State Pension Credit

You can request a Proof of Benefit letter online: https://t.co/vhcVyDRoi5 (It will take at least five days to be sent to you)

If you receive Universal Credit, you do not need the Proof of Benefit Letter. However, you will need to upload evidence of your Universal Credit entitlement when you apply.

The Arc class recently completed a four-week course in an Introduction to Equine-Facilitated Learning with Learning in Harmony with Donkeys. This is a fully accredited course where pupils learn the skills needed to care for donkeys and horses. Pupils enjoyed working on the farm and we even got to name three new additions to the farm - lambs named Colm, Colin and Brook! We look forward to continuing to work with Anne and developing our animal care skills!

Congratulations Carla & Abbie on your All star nominations 🎉

We are delighted to announce our Antrim Schools Cup Year 9 LGFA All-Star Nominations for 2025/2026.
The players were nominated by School Teachers/Coaches, Antrim GAA/Gaelfast staff and match day officials throughout the competition. We had 16 schools and over 350 pupils taking part in our Antrim Schools Cup Year 9 LGFA Competition.

The Year 9 LGFA competition had the most nomination submissions than any other competition this year and the most for any single competition in the history of the Antrim Schools Cup. The quality and competitiveness of the games have been outstanding this year, which was reflected in our Shield and Cup finals. Any player who received a nomination should be very proud of themselves as the competition was so fierce. It is fantastic to see 14 schools represented in the nominations which demonstrates the depth of quality across all of the schools.

The Winners will be announced on Friday 29th May via email to schools & on our social media channels.

Danny Baker MLA was in school today to talk to our Year 9M citizenship class!

They had many questions around cycle paths, special educational needs provision, a new school building for St Colm’s and what does an MLA do in their daily work life!

Well done to the pupils and a massive thanks to Danny for his time and dedication to our pupils!
