Join us for the third of our CEP Networking Events - Supporting Those Who Support Others exploring how organisations can better support the wellbeing, resilience and sustainability of staff and volunteers working on the front line of community development.

Hear from expert guest speakers including Safeguarding Board NI, The Salvation Army United Kingdom and Ireland Territory, Derry Well Women and engage in thought-provoking discussions that will explore practical approaches to:

BelfastSouth is seeking to recruit a qualified teacher as an Education Support Worker to support the delivery and coordination of the Learning Together programme in South Belfast.

The post will work closely with Blythefield Primary School and BelfastSouth staff to support the delivery, coordination and development of targeted numeracy, literacy, digital and after-school interventions for primary school pupils.

This job is funded through the Department of Education through the RAISE Programme.

We have a great range of free community events, training and support sessions taking place across South Belfast this October.

Whether you’re looking to build your digital skills, access support as a dementia carer, or enjoy a fun afternoon of boccia and community connection, there’s something for everyone.

💻 Basic Technology Skills Session

Learn the basics, build confidence and stay connected.

💙 Carer Information & Support Programme (CrISP)
📅 Tuesday 6th & 13th October
⏰ 1.30pm - 4pm
📍 Agape Centre, Lisburn Road, Belfast

A free course for people who provide unpaid care and support for someone living with dementia. Topics include understanding dementia, providing support and care, legal and financial matters, and coping day to day.

Forward South Partnership are working collaboratively with the Public Health Agency in developing a South Belfast Capacity Building Package to support local community organisations, resident's groups, volunteers and people who live and work across the South Belfast locality.

We want to hear from you.

Your feedback will help us understand:
- Local health and wellbeing needs and priorities
- Training and capacity-building needs
- What practical support could make a positive difference
- How we can strengthen connections and build local capacity

Through partnership working and community engagement, we want to develop relevant training, resources and support that reflect the needs of local communities and help people take an active role in improving health and wellbeing across South Belfast.
