This August Officer Cadets spent a week sailing around the Scottish Islands to gain their RYA competent crew qualification.

Throughout the week they learned rope work, how to put up and take down sails, helmsmanship and steering, and the necessary emergency drills.

In between learning these skills they had the opportunity to take in the Scottish landscape, swim in lochs and explored the islands in the evenings after a well-earned dinner.
